Among all the casino games available at bubu88, blackjack holds a special place for one very compelling reason — it is a game that gives players the power to influence the outcome through strategic decisions. Unlike slots or roulette where you simply wait on luck, in blackjack your choices to Hit, Stand, Double Down or Split can have a significant impact on the final result of your hand.
A blackjack RTP that can reach 99.50% with correct basic strategy makes it one of the lowest house edge games in the casino world. This means that for every RM100 you wager over the long run, you are expected to lose only around RM0.50 — a figure far better than most other casino games. At bubu88, we apply internationally recognised player-friendly rules across all our blackjack tables.
The blackjack experience at bubu88 is also far more immersive than other platforms. All our live blackjack tables are streamed in HD with multiple camera angles. You can see every card dealt with complete clarity, follow the dealer's expressions, and enjoy the atmosphere of a real casino from the comfort of your own home. Our professional dealers are trained to communicate in a friendly manner and walk new players through the rules whenever needed.
One thing bubu88 players truly appreciate is the wide range of table limits available. Whether you're a casual player happy to stake RM10 or a serious player comfortable at RM5,000 per hand, bubu88 has a table that fits. Our Infinite Blackjack tables also mean you never have to wait long for a seat even during peak hours – everyone plays at the same table simultaneously.

Many players at bubu88 who were initially hesitant to try blackjack, assuming it was a complicated game. In reality, the basic rules of blackjack are straightforward — you simply need a card value higher than the dealer's without going over 21. That's it. The complexity comes when you start learning strategy to maximise your winning chances, but for a beginner, the basic rules are more than enough to get started.
Let's start with card values. Number cards 2 through 10 are worth their face value. All face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10. The Ace is the most versatile card – it can count as either 1 or 11, whichever benefits your hand most. If you hold an Ace and a 7, your hand totals 18 (Ace = 11). But if you Hit and draw a 5, your hand is now Ace+7+5 – the Ace automatically switches to 1, giving you 13 instead of a busted 23.
At bubu88, every round of blackjack begins with both you and the dealer receiving two cards each. One of the dealer's cards is shown face-up (the upcard) while the other remains hidden (the hole card). Based on your hand value and the dealer's upcard, you then make your decision. Hit means you request one more card. Stand means you are satisfied with your current hand value. Double Down allows you to double your original bet and receive exactly one additional card — this move is most effective when you hold a value of 10 or 11. Split allows you to separate a pair of cards of equal value into two separate hands, each with its own matching bet.
The Surrender option available at select bubu88 tables is a tool that many new players overlook. When your hand is in a clearly weak position against the dealer's upcard — for example, you're holding 15 or 16 while the dealer shows a 9, 10 or Ace — Surrender lets you fold and recover half your bet. Used wisely over the long run, Surrender can significantly reduce your losses.
Side bets such as Perfect Pairs and 21+3 are optional extras available in bubu88's Blackjack Perfect Pairs variant. Perfect Pairs pays a bonus multiplier when your first two cards form a matching pair – different colour (Mixed Pair: 5:1), same colour but different suit (Coloured Pair: 12:1), or an exact suit-and-colour match (Perfect Pair: 25:1). Meanwhile, 21+3 combines your first two cards with the dealer's upcard – if those three cards form a poker combination such as a Flush, Straight, or Three of a Kind, you win at varying multipliers.
